广州：深圳港与包括中海集运，中远集运，阳明海运，马士基，东方海外，达飞和赫伯罗德在内的七家公司签订了协议，减少硫排放。根据协议，这些公司将自愿在码头停靠硫排放少于0.5%的船舶。
政府将出台3200万美元的年度激励计划支持协议执行。
深圳此举是在香港率先进行排放控制计划之后而进行的。香港船东协会主席Arthur Bowring对Splash表示，深圳将在2018年实施ECA，“如果珠三角实施了ECA，上海也有可能加入。”Bowring表示。
