Subsea Integration Alliance, formed by Subsea 7 and OneSubsea, has been awarded integrated subsea engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contracts by Esso for works offshore Australia.
The scope under the contracts include engineering, procurement, construction and installation of two production wells. The wells are in a water depth of approximately 45m and will be tied-back to the Longford onshore gas plants. Offshore installation activities are scheduled for 2020.
Subsea 7 will be responsible for project management, engineering, procurement, construction and installation of the two wells and a single electrohydraulic umbilical from the Barracouta platform to the West Barracouta drill centre, while OneSubsea will take care of two vertical monobore on-wellhead production trees, wellheads, controls and installation and commissioning services.
