Pakistan National Shipping Company picks up LR1 pair from Zodiac Maritime

Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) has acquired a pair of South Korean-built coated LR1 tankers from Eyal Ofer’s Zodiac Maritime, according to brokers.

Allied Shipbroking reports that PNSC has forked out $60.7m for 2012-built Kings Road and 2013-built Abbey Road, both constructed at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding. MSI values the pair at $56.4m, valuing Kings Road at $26.8m and Abbey Road at $29.6m.

PMSC currently has a fleet of nine vessels, made up of five bulk carriers and four Japanese aframaxes.
