Norergian owner Höegh Autoliners has announced that it has sold the pure car and truck carrier Höegh Triton for recycling.
for recycling.The 29-year-old vessel will, in line with the company’s green recycling policy, be recycled at Jiangmen Zhongxin Shipbreaking & Steel in China, under supervision by Greig Green.
“This is the 17th car carrier we have sold for green recycling and we are pleased that Grieg Green will supply services to safeguard safe and environmentally friendly recycling of the vessel,” said Steinar Løvdal, chief operating officer, deep sea, Höegh Autoliners.
