Former CSIC general manager Sun officially arrested

Sun Bo, the former general manager of state-run shipbuilding conglomerate CSIC, has been officially arrested following months of investigations.

The Supreme People’s Procuratorate has arrested Sun for illegal activities including taking bribes and abusing power.

Last month, Sun was expelled from the Communist Party following his detention in June.

Sun spent most of its career in Dalian Shipbuilding Industry (DSIC) and was promoted to general manager of CSIC in 2015.
