ZPMC awarded offshore substation project

Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries (ZPMC) has won a contract from state-run CGN Group in a tender process for a major offshore project.

Under the contract, ZPMC will be responsible for the construction, offshore transportation, installation and maintenance of a substation in CGN’s Daishan wind farm.

CGN has commenced the construction of the Daishan offshore wind farm by the end of 2018. The project will include the installation of 54 wind turbines, one substation and over 100km of subsea cable.

ZPMC currently operates a fleet of 25 heavy lift vessels.
