A2B-online buys its largest ship

The Anglo-Dutch intra-Europe short-sea operator A2B-online has bought its biggest ship. A2B-online has purchased the 658 teu Phoenix II and renamed it A2B Independent, according to Alphaliner’s latest weekly report. The ship will be deployed on A2B-online’s service from Moerdijk, near Rotterdam, to the UK.

The A2B Independent is the fourth owned vessel for the North Sea carrier which started operating between the Netherlands and the UK in June four years ago. A2B-online currently operates six ships.
