ABG Shipyard CEO resigns

India’s ABG Shipyard has announced that the board have accepted the resignation of its managing director and ceo Syed Abdi.

Abdi has been in the role since January 2014.

Debt-ridden ABG Shipyard has reported a net loss of Rs 1,710.68 crore ($254.8m) for the first quarter of 2016, widened from a loss of Rs 374.86 crore ($55.8m) in the same period of 2015.
