Accident at Hantong shipyard, one dead

Shanghai: A worker at Hantong WING Heavy Industry, a subsidiary yard of Nantong Hantong Ship Heavy Industry, was ran over by the track wheel of a gantry crane and died during maintenance work yesterday.

According to a witness at the shipyard, the worker was doing maintenance work on the crane, however, the crane operator started the crane without noticing him which caused the accident.

Currently authorities are investigating the incident.
