Oslo: Odfjell Drilling has awarded Norway’s Aibel Haugesund shipyard a NOK40m ($5.13m) contract for yard stay services related to the periodic survey of the Deepsea Bergen.
The yard stay will take place early this autumn and will include cover inspection activities for structure, piping and tanks.
The yard stay is estimated to be 30 days excluding sailing time.
Deepsea Bergen is a harsh environment semisubmersible drilling rig on a long-term contract with Statoil. The rig is performing production drilling services for Statoil in the Norwegian Sea.
