Allseas secures Aker BP contract

Aker BP has awarded Allseas, via Excalibur Marine Contractors, a six-year frame agreement for offshore transport, installation, and removal (T,I&R) services of infrastructure on the Valhall field off Norway in 2019. The contract also includes options for two two-year extensions.

In addition, Allseas also secured options for the future removal and disposal of Valhall QP topsides and QP/DP bridge. The contract values was not revealed.

Aker BP has so far awarded two T,I&R contracts for the Valhall field. Last month, it awarded Heerema a long term T&I frame agreement and call off for Valhall Flank West installation. The agreement will now be amended to include removal services and become a T,I&R agreement.
