Denver-based pipeline operator American Midstream Partners announced on Monday it has closed the acquisition of a minority interest in the Delta House floating production system (FPS).
Delta House, a water independent, semi-submersible FPS , has been operating in the US Gulf of Mexico since April and has capacity to process 100,000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and 240 million cubic feet (MMCFD) of gas per day.
It is operated and partly owned by Louisiana-based LLOG one of the largest privately owned energy companies in the US.
American Midstream Partners paid $162m for its share which it bought from an affiliate of ArcLight Capital Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm focused on energy infrastructure investments.
