Greece’s Ancora Investment Trust is selling a pair of 8,000 dwt oil/chemical tankers to Italy’s Amoretti Armatori.
According to local media in Italy an agreement for the sale of the two vessels, Minitank Five and Minitank Six, will be signed in the coming days for a total price in the region of $16m.
Parma-based Amoretti Armatori already operates 12 vessels and has been in the market for more than a year for a modern pair of secondhand vessels in order to modernise its fleet.
Minitank Five and Minitank Six were delivered by South Korean shipyard Nokbong in 2007.
