Another handy for Tan Binh

Very active Vietnamese owner Tan Binh Shipping has snapped up the  Tenna Bulker for $6.65m from J. Lauritzen.

The sale came only a week since Tan Binh picked up another ship for sale. Commenting on the company one broker told Splash: “They are very active, they keep buying handies by waiving inspections.”

The ship is bought close a million more than VesselsValue.com prices it.

Privately held Tan Binh tends to focus on the spot trades between Asia and the Middle East.

Tan Binh’s latest acquisition is its sixth this year and brings its fleet to 16 vessels.
