Another supramax on the block for Nisshin

Nisshin Shipping’s rapid sale of its dry bulk fleet continues. The Japanese line managed to sell five bulkers last month.

This week, the NS Trader I supramax has been sold on subjects to an unspecified Greek owner for $9.2m, a significant discount to online pricing portal VesselsValue.com’s $11.45m valuation.

A broker tells Splash, Nisshin will continue to sell more bulkers fast as it focuses its attention on the tanker trades. “They still have 7 or 8 bulkers for sale,” the source revealed.
