Dalian: The rapidly growing port of Tianjin has another big name shipper joining its ranks and boosting infrastructure. America’s Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), a food processing and commodities trading corporation, will build a food processing and logistics facility in Tianjin's Binhai New Area.
The facility will have a capacity of 1m tonnes and is to be completed by the end of 2013. The first phase is costing around $300m and will cover 490,000 sq m, including a syrup-making plant that will be able to produce 1m tonnes of syrup per year. [31/12/12]
