Asia’s largest roro to be put into operation

The largest passenger roro vessel “Bo Hai Jing Zhu” is scheduled to put into operation on 11 October, according to Bohai Ferry Co., Ltd.

After four months’ installation and adjustment, the ship will be launched. “Bo Hai Jing Zhu”, the sister ship of “Bo Hai Cui Zhu”, cost a combined RMB400m. The ships can accommodate 2,292 passengers and over 300 automobiles, and also have a helipad.

Currently, the “Bo Hai Jing Zhu”, at 178.8 m long and 28 m wide, is the largest passenger roro vessel in Asia.  [08/10/12]
