SGX-listed Australian oil & gas construction, maintenance and fabrication firm AusGroup has appointed Shane Kimpton as executive director and chief executive officer.
Kimpton has over 30 years experience in resources having worked with UGL, Transfield Services and ExxonMobil. He is replacing Simon High who is stepping down for personal reasons after just 18 months with the company.
AusGroup’s previous managing director Gerard Hutchinson also resigned after a short stint with the company, leaving in February 2016 after just nine months in the role.
AusGroup went through a debt restructuring last year, and also put its scaffolding business up for sale.
