Awilco Drilling finds more work for semi-submersible

Norway’s Awilco Drilling has been awarded a letter of intent with an undisclosed operator for the provision of 1982-built semi-submersible rig WilPhoenix. 
 
The contract is for one well and has an estimated duration of 115 days, commencing after the rig’s current contract with Apache North Sea is completed during the second quarter of 2018. 
 
The contract is estimated to be worth $13.8m.
