Barakah Offshore secures Shell contract

Barakah Offshore Petroleum subsidiary PBJV Group has been awarded a RM25m ($5.85m) contract from Sabah Shell Petroleum Company for the provision of effluent discharge pipeline replacement for the Labuan Crude Oil Terminal (LCOT).

LCOT is a facility that receives, dehydrates, stores and exports crude from fields located offshore Sabah, operated by SSPC, Petronas and Repsol via two incoming trunk lines.

The contract involves engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of a new effluent discharge pipeline at LCOT.

The contract is effective from October 2016 until the completion of the project.
