Bunkering

Bunkering restarts at war-torn Aden

Ship agent GAC reports that the Middle Eastern strategic port of Aden has resumed bunker supply operations. Supplies were halted for the past 13 months when Houthi rebels invaded the port city. Yemen has been fighting a vicious civil war with Aden being a key flashpoint between opposing factions. The civil strife has seen the port’s facilities attacked repeatedly.

A fragile UN-brokered ceasefire came into force between the various factions as of midnight today.
