Cape Shipping orders boxship quartet at Huangpu Wenchong

Greek owner Cape Shipping has signed shipbuilding contracts with CSSC-affiliated Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding for the construction of two 2,700 teu containerships and two 600 feu refrigerated containerships.

The price and scheduled delivery dates were not disclosed.

Cape Shipping took delivery of two 2,190 teu and one 6,900 teu containerships from the same yard during 2017. The company currently operates a fleet of 11 vessels, made up of eight containerships and three bulkers.
