China Cosco Shipping Corporation has announced the signing of a partnership with Dongfeng Motor, a major automobile manufacturer in China.
Under the agreement, China Cosco Shipping has become the automobile transport partner of Dongfeng Motor.
China Cosco Shipping has been making great efforts to expand its automobile shipping business this year. Since January, the company has signed strategic partnerships with domesic automakers including BAIC, FAW and Chery.
Cosco Shipping Specialized Carriers currently operates six pure car carriers. It also has a car shipping joint venture NYKCOS with Japan’s NYK.
