China’s first dual-fuel LNG carrier under construction

Shanghai: Ningbo Xinle Shipbuilding Group has recently held a steel cutting ceremony for China's first hybrid dual-fuel 30,000 cu m LNG carrier.

The $105m LNG carrier for PetroChina will operate along China’s coast.

181 m in length, 36 m in breadth, 19 m in height and with a 7.8 m draft, the ship is due to be delivered in March 2015.  [24/04/13]
