Hamburg: Jiangzhou Union Shipbuilding signed a newbuilding contract for six 8,500 dwt multipurpose vessels with an unspecified Swiss owner in Hamburg at SMM.
Germanischer Lloyd (GL) will class the newbuildings which are 122.2 m in length, 19.8 m in breadth and 11 m in height. They will be equipped with 80-ton crane.
The Jiangxi shipyard’s parent is listed in Hong Kong. [07/09/12]
