CMA CGM boosts Algerian presence

French containerline CMA CGM is boosting its presence in Algeria by teaming up with local line CNAN Nord. The pair will launch routes connecting northern Europe to Algeria as well as CMA CGM commencing some slot sharing agreements with CNAN Nord.

“This agreement is part of the CMA CGM development strategy in Algeria, which aims at accompanying shipping transportation development within the country,” the French line said in a statement.
