CNCEC bags shipping terminal contract in Saudi Arabia

Beijing: China National Chemical Engineering Corporation(CNCEC) has been awarded a US$400m contract by Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) to build a new storage, handling and shipping terminal in King Fahd Industrial Port in Jubail.

The first phase of the project involves building 40 commodity and specialty chemical storage tanks, complete with truck handling and ship loading facilities for five berths.

SABIC said the project would enable the continued growth of the petrochemical and downstream industries in Saudi Arabia. [15/11/12]
