Cosco Shipping International gets new chairman

Cosco Shipping International, the Hong Kong-based investment unit of China Cosco Shipping Corporation, has announced that Ye Weilong has resigned as chairman and executive director.

Cosco Shipping International has appointed Wang Yuhang to take over the chairman role. Wang, 56, has served in various posts at Cosco, and is currently executive vice president of China Cosco Shipping Corporation.

Cosco has been shuffling management of its affiliate companies recently. In January, Wan Min resigned from the chairman post of Cosco Shipping Holdings and joined China Travel Service Hong Kong as chairman.
