Beijing: China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) announced that it signed agreements for the construction of 15 vessels including one output enhancement vessel, four 6,000-hp platform supply vessels (PSV), two 9,000-hp PSVs, two 8,000-hp anchor handling tug supply vessels (AHTS ), four 12,000-hp AHTS and two 15,000-hp AHTS vessels.
The vessels will be constructed by five shipyards, and are expected to be delivered between January and August 2015.
COSL said the order of these vessels will further enhance its capabilities in deepwater operations, addressing China's demand for offshore oil and gas exploration and development. [24/06/13]
