Cosmoship in for four feeders

Greece’s Cosmoship Management has ordered four 1,500 teu boxships at Guangzhou Wenchong in China, Clarksons Research is reporting in its latest weekly report. Delivery of all four vessels is scheduled in the second half of 2019.

The four new ships will take Piraeus-headquartered Cosmoship’s boxship fleet to 14 vessels. The owner’s container fleet is focused on feeders, ranging in size from 1,000 teu to 1,800 teu.

The orders at Guangzhou Wenchong close out the yard’s available berths for 2019 and it has now started marketing 2020 slots.
