Guangzhou: Costa Victoria, owned and operated by Costa Cruises, made its debut call at Xiamen International Cruise Terminal yesterday, its new homeport. It is the first international luxury cruise liner to called at Xiamen port this year. The 76,000gt Costa Victoria is scheduled to launch two cruise routes from Xiamen this year.
Xiamen International Cruise Terminal welcomed 33,610 cruise passengers in 2012, up 200% year-on-year. Xiamen Port Group is also working with Taiwan International Ports Corporation (TIPC) to offer cross-strait cruise services. [22/02/13]
