CSC Wuhan Automobile Logistics orders roro vessel

CSC Wuhan Automobile Logistics, a subsidiary of state-run logistics and shipping giant Sinotrans & CSC, has signed a shipbuilding contract with Jiangdong Shipyard for the construction of a 1,050 ceu roro vessel.

The value of the contract is RMB33.7m ($4.88m) and delivery is scheduled in the second half of 2018.

Sinotrans & CSC is currently developing an RMB4bn ($579m) automobile logistics park in Wuhan. The project includes three berths for 800-1,200 ceu roro ships, two 3,000 – 5,000 dwt multipurpose berths and a warehouse.
