CSL Group takes another handysize

Brokers tell Splash that Montreal-headquartered shipowner CSL Group has snapped up the 28,400 dwt bulker Glorious Sunshine.  The purchase is the third ship bought by the privately-owned shipping Canadian outfit in a year. The Japanese-controlled ship is costing $8.5m.  The three similar sized ships CSL has added within a year are also in the same age group as the Glorious Sunshine.

CSL has three focuses in its fleet: gearless bulkers, self-unloaders, a number of  transhippers. VesselsValue lists the company with 41 vessels.
