Dae Sun wins chemical tanker order

Dae Sun Shipbuilding & Engineering from South Korea has won an order from compatriot owner HNCC for a 3,500 dwt chemical tanker.

The ship will deliver in the second half of next year. No price has been revealed for the stainless steel tanker.

Dae Sun is confident it will seal more chemical tanker orders from local owners this year. It offers chemical tankers ranging in size from 3,000 dwt to 12,000 dwt.
