Dalian line with ties to North Korea blacklisted by the US

A Dalian-based shipping line has been blacklisted by the US for its links to North Korea.

Dalian Global Unity Shipping has been slapped with sanctions as well as the Bank of Dandong and two Chinese individuals as the US clamps down on North Korea in the wake of the death of a US citizen who had been held captive in the Kim Jong Un ruled state.

The shipping line ships coal and steel between China and North Korea. Any of its property or assets in the US will now be frozen and no US citizen can do business with the company.
