Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has agreed an extension with Hong Kong’s BG Shipping for the time charter of 2010-built panamax vessel

. The extension is for a period of 16-19 months at a daily rate of $12,250 per day, substantially higher than the $7,100 per day BG was paying under the previous contract.
The new charter starts today and will generate around $5.88m of revenue based on the minimum time charter period.
