Diana Shipping panamax fixed to Ausca

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has sealed a time charter contract with Hong Kong’s Ausca Shipping for 2001-built panamax vessel Dione. 
 
The charter commences January 23 for a period of 14-17 months at a rate of $10,350 per day. The 75,172 dwt vessel was previously chartered to Harry Banga’s Caravel Shipping at $7,050 per day.
 
Diana Shipping says the charter will generate around $4.35m of revenue based on the minimum time charter period.
