Direct cargo link to Japan for Humen port

Shanghai: Humen port has inked a letter of intention for cooperation with Shanghai Pan Asia Shipping to open Japanese routes.

According to the letter of intention, the two parties will actively promote the launch and operation of the container liner routes between Humen and Japanese ports, and increase cargo volume on the routes.

Before Humen port started operation, the traders in Dongguan, Guangdong can only import or export their cargoes at Shenzhen or Hong Kong, which costs more.  [03/07/12]
