DOF Subsea secures new contracts in Asia and Brazil

Norway’s DOF Subsea has announced several new contracts totalling around NOK3.3bn ($402m) for the second and third quarters.

In Asia Pacific, DOF Subsea has secured several contracts and work under existing frame agreements, securing the utilisation of dive support vessel Skandi Singapore and multipurpose vessel Skandi Hercules. The scope of work includes project management, engineering, light construction and saturation diving.

In Brazil, Petrobras has awarded a new contract for subsea construction vessel Skandi Salvador for a period of 1 year with an additional 1 year option. The vessel had been operating for Chevron on the Frade oil field previously.

DOF Subsea also announced its latest results today, posting a profit of NOK415m ($51m) for the first half of 2016.
