DP World in discussions over Puntland concession

Terminal operator DP World has held discussions about investing in the port of Bosaso in Somalia’s semi-autonomous region of Puntland.

The region’s president, Abdiweli Mohamed Ali, was in Dubai last week to discuss the concession with the terminal operator.

DP World already has a terminal in the Horn of Africa, some 650 km to the west of Bosaso in Djibouti.
