Eidesvik Offshore offloads PSV

Norway’s Eidesvik Offshore has announced the sale of 2004-built platform supply vessel Viking Nereus.

The buyer of the vessel was not disclosed, and Eidesvik said the sale was dependent on a technical inspection. If it passed the inspection then the sale will be finalised before the end of the year.

Eidesvik said the sale will result in an impairment loss of around NOK55m ($6.8m).
