Singapore: Epic Gas’s Lars Vang Christensen has given notice of his resignation from the position of ceo of Epic Gas. He will be handing over his duties to Charles Maltby, executive chairman of Epic Gas, during the course of 2015.
Maltby commented, “Lars has led the team at Epic Gas to remarkable achievements over the last two years, establishing the company as the industry’s leading pressurised LPG shipping business.”
Christensen has over 30 years of international shipping industry experience having joined Danish maritime conglomerate A.P. Moller – Maersk Group in 1979
Epic Gas, widely believed to be closing in on an IPO, owns and operates a fleet of 47 fully pressurised gas carriers. [16/01/15]
