Taipei: Evergreen has finally concluded its deal to charter ten 13,800 teu ships and has opted to charter from Greece’s Enesel SA rather than the originally intended Korea Infrastructure Investments Asset Management Co.
Enesel has placed an order with Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries worth a total of $1.2bn for the ten vessels which will deliver between the second half of 2013 and the end of 2014. [04/07/12]
