Farstad offloads old AHTS

Oslo: Oslo-listed offshore specialist Farstad has taken a $0.53m loss this quarter by selling an old anchor handler.

The AHTS Far Sky (13,382 bhp, built 1991) had been working in Asia via Farstad’s Singapore office. The company did not reveal the buyer.

Farstad has been going about modernising its fleet in recent months. Following the sale, the Norwegian owner’s fleet now stands at 61 vessels.
