Fifth generation at the helm of Louis Dreyfus Armateurs

Paris: Edouard Louis-Dreyfus has assumed the presidency at one France’s great names in shipping, Louis Dreyfus Armateurs. He becomes the fifth generation of Louis-Dreyfus’s to take the helm of the dry bulk giant, having joined the family firm 13 years ago.

He will chair the board of the company Pacemar, the holding company of the group, and will be accompanied by a CEO, Gildas Maire, and a general manager of operations, Alain Le Guillard.

Philippe Louis-Dreyfus, Edouard’s father, has become chairman of the supervisory board of Pacemar.
