Doha: 16 people were injured in a sugar factory fire in Jeddah Islamic Port over the weekend. Energy giant Saudi Aramco intervened to put out the fire. Aircraft and a number of land crews were deployed to put out the raging inferno that turned 100,000 tons of raw sugar into a molten caramel volcanic mountain. [23/06/13]
