Forbes Bumi Armada FPSO ready for $620m charter

 

Singapore: Forbes Bumi Armada Offshore Limited, a jv between Bumi Armada Berhad and Shapoorji Pallonji Company Limited, have announced that FPSO vessel “Armada Sterling” is ready for departure after conversion at Keppel Shipyard. 
 
Armada Sterling will go to work for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited at the D1 field, 200 km offshore from Mumbai, on a seven year fixed term charter contract valued at approximately USD620 million.
 
Hassan Basma, ceo of Bumi Armada Berhad noted, “We remain on schedule for a record First Oil date in December 2012.” [29/10/12]
