Foremost Group adds capesize pair at Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding

New York-based Foremost Group has placed an order at CSSC-affiliated Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding for the construction of two 180,000 dwt capesize bulkers.

The latest order adds to Foremost Group’s recent orders of two 180,000 dwt bulkers at Waigaoqiao in June and two 85,000 dwt bulkers at Japan’s Oshima Shipbuilding in August.

Foremost is a repeat customer of Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, with the shipyard having delivered over 10 bulk carriers to Foremost Group since 2002.

Foremost Group currently operates a fleet of 18 bulkers.
