Four high-level panels:
Tanker Market Outlook
HR and Crewing Issues
Maximising Operating Efficiency
Dry Bulk Market Outlook
Reception at Fullerton’s Post Bar
Making its debut in March will be the Maritime CEO Forum.
The event is designed as the anti-shipping conference, in that it will be a half-day with panels packed full of shipowner and shipmanager CEOs. No presentations, no slides, no selling, just the top people in the industry discussing pressing issues.
Maritime CEO Forum will be limited in size to ensure all attendees can make the most of the day, network and then attendees can relax at the afterparty at the Fullerton’s Post Bar which will include additional invited guests.
12:30pm: Registration and Coffee
1:30pm: Tanker Market Outlook
Where are rates for crude tankers headed? A panel of top owners and analysts debate.
2:30pm: HR and Crewing Issues
Shipping continues to suffer recruitment problems both ashore and at sea. Leading owners and HR executives debate how to make shipping a more attractive job option and how to lock people into long term careers.
3:30pm: Coffee break
4:00pm: Maximising Operating Efficiency
With rates still threadbare in most sectors, the forum will look at novel ways to run fleets more efficiently. Fleet managers from famous lines and top names in shipmanagement will contribute their thoughts.
5:00pm: Dry Bulk Market Outlook
Has the bottom been reached for dry bulk? What are the opportunities in this bearish market? The Maritime CEO Forum concludes with a high calibre discussion on the bulker sector.
6:00pm: Cocktail Reception at Post Bar
Come along to one of Singapore’s most famous bars for drinks and networking at the Fullerton.

The idea with the forum is building on our series of lunches and breakfasts over the past four years. We aim to make any event we put on as informal, interactive and interesting as possible. The industry is rightly fed up with the staid nature of conferences these days. We promise no set speeches, no power points – just pure insight and wisdom from the top names in the industry.
