Athens: Glencore Grain BV (Rotterdam) has timechartered another panamax bulker from Diana Shipping for a period of between 11 to 14 months, expected to commence tomorrow.
The Erato (74,444 dwt, built 2004) has been chartered at a net daily rate of $6,745 ($7,100 per day before commission), the New York-listed company said today.
Diana says the deal will generate approximately $2.22m of net revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the timecharter.
In mid-February, Glencore Grain extended its timecharter of Diana’s Arethusa (73,593 dwt, built 2007) at a net charter rate of $6,745 per day ($7,100 daily before commission) for a period of between 11 and 14 months.
